This comprises a visit to the Carnivore restaurant located in Langata a suburb of Nairobi, Kenya. Carnivore’s specialty is meat, and features an all-you-can-eat meat buffet. They serve a wide variety of meat and were specifically famous for their game meat until Kenya imposed a ban on the sale of game meat in 2004. The meat is roasted on traditional Masai swords over a huge charcoal pit which dominates the entrance of the restaurant. This is a signature visit to any visitor in Nairobi whether Leisure or Business visitor.
The Nairobi National Park is located approximately 7 kilometers south of the center of Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city, with an electric fence separating the park’s wildlife from the city. Game driving in the national park is exciting on a bright sunny day during a Nairobi city tour, there are chances to see four of the Big Five (Lion, leopard, Rhino and Buffalo). There are over 400 bird species in the park, about 20 of them are seasonal European migrants. Nairobi national-park has a large wildebeest and zebra migration as well as many predators like lion, leopard, hyena and cheetahs.
The Karen Blixen Giraffe Center is located in Langata, approximately 20 kilometers from the center of Nairobi, Kenya. It was established to protect the endangered giraffe, that is found only in the grasslands of East Africa. The Giraffe Centre in Nairobi is a must visit place for any visitor to Nairobi City. It was started as a rehabilitation project to rescue the Rothschild Giraffe when there were only 120 giraffes left in a ranch in Western Kenya. At the Giraffe Center you get up close to the Giraffe and stand eye to eye with the Giraffes. You are given small pellets to feed the Giraffes and there are unlimited refills.
Bomas of Kenya is a tourist village and cultural center located approximately 6 miles south of Nairobi city Centre. It features replicas of traditional homesteads, or bomas as they commonly known, from 23 of Kenya’s ethnic groups. Bomas of Kenya was founded by the Kenya Tourist Development Cooperation in 1971.The name of this popular tourist village comes from the Swahili word Boma, meaning homestead, referring to the 23 replica villages found on the site, each displaying the unique characteristics of their respective ethnic group. At first glance, these round huts all appear much the same. But on further inspection, important and distinct social structures emerge. The organization of the various homesteads reveals telling details about the particular ethnic group. Since 1971, when it first opened its doors to the public, Bomas of Kenya has proudly welcomed over 10 million visitors
